Your Cognitive Hypnotherapist
I came to find cognitive hypnotherapy when I was facing my own difficulties. That’s how I know it really works.Nancy Madden
Throughout my life I struggled with depression, anxiety, insomnia and issues with food. As an over-achiever with low self-esteem, I hid my true feelings from the world… until something changed and I got the help I needed and turned my life around.
I liked the way cognitive hypnotherapy worked, tailored to me and helping me to understand that my thoughts were negatively affecting my life. I changed how I felt about myself and the old patterns and behaviours faded away. I decided to train as a cognitive hypnotherapist myself, driven by a desire to help people get their lives back, just like I did.
“I know what it means to struggle and to get through it; how to change your problems into opportunities and win.”Nancy Madden
Before becoming a hypnotherapist I was a secondary school teacher; I was born with the desire to help people. I was successful in this high–pressure, results driven environment, until one day I found myself in the unfamiliar situation of being bullied at work. This lasted months, it took a big toll on my emotional and physical health, as well as on those around me. During this time, my marriage also fell apart. I felt alone and hopeless and spent months trapped at home, agoraphobic, anxious, ashamed, chronically depressed and suicidal. This was the catalyst that moved me to seek help from a cognitive hypnotherapist and change a lifetime of limited thinking. So I have been there too, and turned my life around, not because I am special, but because I got the help I needed.
Now I am a fully qualified and insured therapeutic practitioner and Life Coach, with practices all over London. Now I have the great honour of using my expertise and experiences to help people make real and permanent changes for a better life.
